Qualification, Experience and Age Limits

Required qualification, experience and age limits mentioned in the advertisement are as follow:

1.Joint Chief Economist

• Ph.D in Economics/Economics Planning/Economics Policy/Development Economics/Agricultural Economics/ Transportation Economics/Industrial Economics/Business administration or Public Finance from a recognized University.
• Five Year Experience in the field of Development Administration and Research in the area of Economics/ Macro-economics/ Policy making/Public finance or other fields of Economics Planning or Development
• At least Three Publications to be evaluated by the commission.

2.Assistant Director Agriculture

• M.Sc (HONS) Agriculture/B.Sc Agriculture Engineering/B.Sc Mechanical Engineering 2nd division from a recognized university.
• 05 years experience in the field of water management.

Number of Vacancies, Distribution and Age Limits

1.Joint Chief Economist

There is only one vacancy for this post. Domicile/Quota wise is Merit-01. Place of posting-Anywhere in Punjab. Only male candidates can apply. Age limits are 35 to 45 plus 05 year relaxation in upper age limit.

2.Assistant Director Agriculture

Total number of vacancies are Thirty Six. Domicile/Quota wise are Merit-26, Women quota-07, Minorities-02 and Special Persons-01. Place of posting-Anywhere in Punjab. These vacancies are for male, females and transgender candidates. Age limits are 26 to 35 plus 05 year relaxation in upper age limit.
